Arrow Sky Studios CEO

As the Creator, Writer and Executive Producer of the Planet Blue Series, she leads the overall company vision and strategy of Arrow Sky Studios. Victoria has created the concept and characters for Planet Blue and has written all the screenplays to date. She voices Frazzie the squirrel monkey and Blinky the tree frog in the Rainforest. She is a lifelong advocate for environmental awareness, conservation efforts, underprivileged children and animal rights.

Children's Hospitals around the world are given the character licensing rights to inspire positive and uplifting hope for kids during their path to wellness.

The  Head  of the  Animation  Studio, Mike leads the  production  and animation team for Planet Blue: Journey to Eco.  He founded  the Animation Studio 25 years ago, and has won 7 Emmy Awards for production work on Sesame Street. Mike brings an extraordinary level of animation experience to the  team. He directed  and  contributed  to many high-profile projects in the entertainment industry  including Sesame Street Workshop, Marvel Entertainment, Microsoft and Xbox, Nickelodeon, and The Rolling Stones.

Culwell’s experience and vast portfolio has a breadth difficult to match. At 21 his 3D art landed on the cover for Post Magazine, and this steady stream of great work continued afterward for Dell, Electronic Arts, Coca Cola, Crayola, Nickelodeon, Marvel, and many more. Notably, Don’s art direction contributed to Taylor Swift’s iconic music video Fifteen, which was nominated for an MTV Music Award for Best Video of the Year. Don is an expert in animation and effects, leads production and the Studio from a visionary, artistic, and technical standpoint, all the while maintaining his team before the captain attitude.

Planet Blue Saba

One of those rare second generation Hollywood natives, Saba began his career in the art department of the historic Tower Records’ flagship store on the Sunset Strip (literally a staple in pop culture lore - see the movie Empire Records). This work and his subsequent beating of the pavement led to getting his first job in animation at HBO’s animation house, where he worked on productions such as Todd McFarlane’s Spawn and Ralph Bakshi’s Spicy City. Saba then moved to Nickelodeon, where he would spend the next 16 years. During this time Saba worked on Butch Hartman's The Fairly Odd Parents, one of Nickelodeon’s most successful shows. Saba would become producer for multiple seasons, at which time The Fairly Odd Parents would be nominated twice for a Daytime Emmy. 

Planet Blue Rickey

Rickey Boyd’s 25+ year career includes extensive experience as a puppeteer, animation director, and designer.  As a performer, he had the honor of joining and working alongside his childhood legend Jim Henson and the Muppet Performers on a wide array of projects ranging from Sesame Street to Ninja Turtles 1 and 2, Disney/Henson's Dinosaurs (the Series), Muppets from Space, Animal Jam and Muppet Wizard of Oz. Over the past 17 years he has lead our talented team on adventures with Elmo, Big Bird and friends for Sesame Workshop, along with other characters for HBO, The Jim Henson Company, Nickelodeon and others. The team won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Effects for its work on Elmo the Musical under his direction. 

Planet Blue Michael

A New Jersey native and Rutgers graduate, Michael Lapinski has worked for over 20 years in some of the most well-known animation houses in the world. Lapinski’s artistic talent is a balance of creative and analytical approach to the craft, and he a master of multiple artistic styles. These rare attributes allow Lapinski to approach projects from a scope broader than just an artist, but also one who can govern creative vision. This same experience has had him working on as broad and diverse projects as the creator-driven reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Lead Designer for several seasons on Blues Clues.  Lapinski has played a critical role in some of the Studio's best work, such as the Emmy-award winning Elmo the Musical, recent pilot work for Jim Henson Productions, trailer work for Valiant and music videos for Warner Brothers.

Planet Blue Joey

Writer, director, performer, songwriter, actor and comedian, Joey comes to Planet Blue loaded down with an incredible 22 Emmy Awards. With experience as the author of numerous movie scripts and the lead writer of Sesame Street for 26 years,

he also co-wrote the screenplays for The Adventures of Elmo in GrouchlandMuppets from Space and Kermit's Swamp Years.

Joey will consult and advise on scripts and plotting to insure our series is entertaining, informative and compelling.

Planet Blue Kerry

Kerry was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actress for Xanadu. Other Broadway credits include Beauty and the Beast, Catch Me If You Can, Rock of Ages, Little Shop of Horrors, Hairspray, Les Misérables, Blood Brothers and The Best Man. Recently she starred in the Broadway Show, BeetleJuice. Off-Broadway she performed at Playwrights Horizons in The Call, and played Hillary Clinton in Clinton the Musical. Kerry brings her exuberance and beautiful voice to Planet Blue to help us bring Sunny Sun to life.  When you are casting the role of a literal star you have to aim high, and we could not be more thrilled with Kerry’s involvement.

Planet Blue Luke Drewell

Since graduating from the University of Chichester (UK) with a First Class BA Hons in Musical Theatre, Luke has gone on to work all over the UK and the world primarily in kids and family theatre. Credits include: Dear Zoo (UK and Asia Tour), Meet the Teaspoons (London residency), Hotel Transylvania (Doha & Dubai), Jungle Adventure at Paulton's Park (home of Peppa Pig World in the UK), and multiple Christmas Panto's including Jack and the Beanstalk and Cinderella. Luke is also a professional voice over artist and is thrilled to be cast as the main character, Planet Blue!

Director Joel Robertson has been in film and video production for 15 years. More recently, he has been working in Nashville, TN on music videos, and commercials for big brands such as Coke, Puma, Titleist, Polo Sport, Verizon and artists such as Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum, Blake Shelton and Brett Eldredge.  With an extensive background in visual effects, he is able to accomplish any creative vision Planet Blue's production needs.
